The Foteviken Viking Museum is an archaeological open air museum that conveys how life might have been in a town during the late Viking Age - early Middle Ages. Aside from traditional exhibitions the museum has a reconstructed Viking town with 23 buildings of different kinds, and a reconstructed Viking ship based on an archaeological find made in the Bay of Foteviken.

The Foteviken Viking Museum is part of the visitor experience Viking World @ Foteviken which also includes a restaurant, holiday cottages, a motorhome quickstop and tourism information, a scenic vantage point and picnic site with grilling opportunities, all located just by the beach of the bay of Höllviken.
